well, Thanksgiving went well. we went to my folks for brunch. it was soooo good!! we were invited to Aunt Kathy's for dinner. i was gonna go but didn't want to and after my last therapy session, realized i didn't have to! i was going to go cuz i felt guilty and was trying to create something that just isn't there. everyone is just so fake that it drives me nuts! i didn't want to have to be all kissy kissy when inside i just wanted to scream. i mean, seriously…….most people would be honored to be alive and in good shape when they have great grandchildren…..but noooo not my kids'. they don't even get a birthday card!!! it's ok that i don't get even a card, but come on!!! many people would be thankful to have this opportunity. so i'm supposed to be sweet and nice to someone who doesn't even care i'm alive! and then there's the crazy Aunt who is just annoying. really the only people i enjoy the company of are my family and Uncle Ed, Aunt Kathy, Trask, and Brooke. anyways….enough of my ranting. i'm happy with my little family now and that's all the matters! i have to take care of them.
we went to Kevin's folks for dinner. that was fun and relaxing. we spent the night while Kevin worked the graveyard shift for ot. i got up at 4:30am so Lynn and i could go shopping. it was lots of fun! people sure are crazy that early in the morning! we had a great time tho. we came home around dinner time so Kevin could go work some more….crazy guy! the money IS nice tho. all in all a great few days!
Saturday we went to Finding Nemo on Ice. we took Chandlur and Cozette while Robyn watched Vahn. the kids loooved it! it was cute to watch them get so excited. the costumes were great, and how they created the scenes was really cool. all the way back to the car Cozette kept saying “nigh, nigh Memo”. i think she was more excited about it than Chandlur.
Theeeeen…..my folks took Chandlur to see the Train Show today. they got to have some one on one time with him. that really made me smile! they also took him out for ice cream. the first thing he said when he came home “i keem, i keem” then he kept saying “twain, twain, choo choo” it was pretty dogon cute!
Whew, what a busy past few days! busy, but definitely fun!
